The Inspiration

Shirley G. Dyels

Shirley G. Dyels was a radiant, determined woman whose greatest joy was being the mother of her beloved children, David and Sylvia. Even in the face of life’s challenges, she poured love, wisdom, and quiet strength into everyone around her. Though her earthly journey ended far too soon at the age of 42, the depth of her sacrifice, her faith, and her unwavering belief in her son’s future continue to live on in him. Her legacy is not only in the years she lived, but also in the enduring imprint of her heart on David’s life, on all who were blessed to know her, and on all single parents through the Ohemaa Academy.
